Planet G SHDSL Bridge Modem Settings

Planet Modem Settings
I will try to briefly explain the Planet Modem Settings that need to be made mutually to communicate two Planet GRT-401 model broadband modems over cat3 cable. First of all, for the stability of the distance between the two modems, it should not be more than 500 meters and there should be no short circuit or interference on the copper line, that is, the line must be clean.

Planet Broadband Modem First Installation
While the planetary modem settings are made, let’s return both of them to factory settings by holding the reset button. Then connect it to our computer with the help of a patch cable. In the Default settings of the modem, DHCP, i.e. automatic IP service will be turned on, so let’s set our computer to receive automatic IP. To connect to the modem web interface, type 192.168.0.1, the default IP address of Planet modems, into the web browser. On the screen that opens, fill in userneame: admin and password: admin and log in.
GHDSL Modem Bridge Mode
Let’s enter the Basic tab on the screen that appears. Here, if we want to make two modems talk to each other, let’s select Bridge mode and from the bottom option, select CO for the Server Modem, select Bridge for the Client Modem and this time select CPE mode from the bottom. Let’s say next on the next screens. On the last setting summary page, let’s say Restart. If these settings are set on both modems and the copper line between them is clean, the PPP lamp of the modems will first light up and then the Active lamp will start blinking. In this way, traffic will start flowing over our modems.
