HP Procurve Reset

1. Press and hold the RESET and CLEAR buttons on the front panel at the same time.

2. After three to four seconds, release the RESET button.

3. The CLEAR button is also released when the SELF TEST lamp remains lit continuously after flashing.

4. Hp Procurve’ ün bazı modellerinde örneğin 24 portlu 2510-24 modelinde İlk önce RESET düğmesine basılır, tüm ledler yandığında RESET düğmesi bırakılır ve hemen ardından switchin tüm ledleri normal olması gereken haline dönene kadar CLEAR butonuna basılı tutulur.  

If you are not sure if the LEDs are back to normal, either connect to the PC with the consol and check if the decompile is complete from the hyperterminal screen or do not release the CLEAR button for 60 seconds.

As soon as the Switch finishes Decompile, it returns to normal and reverts to the initial settings stored in ROM.

Before doing this operation, a backup must be taken. It is also necessary to do this when the password is forgotten.
