Google Rich Content Display Google rich content display actually shows you how Google’s content and listing algorithm has changed recently.

In this article, Google rich content display will actually shed light on how Google’s content and listing algorithm has changed recently. In fact, almost every day, we will talk about the listing pages we see as a result of Google searches that most of us do.
On these pages, listing is made with rich results by going beyond the usual mold results. Although we cannot naturally include all examples of Google rich content, we can examine a few of them together.
Index
Distance (metric) Searches:
For example, when I type the keywords“istanbul Edirne how many km” in the search line, instead of the usual listing,“Google rich content results” will be shown as below.
As a search result, a simple text phrase was displayed at the top of the page, followed by a list of other search results. It even calculated the average fuel consumption of your car and calculated the total cost of the trip. Isn’t that great?
Google search results continue to surprise us with their rich content. With new search algorithms, new listing pages appear every moment. Google will soon stop directing visitors to sites in line with keywords.
Instead, it aggregates content from other websites and publishes it as header information to the user through the“Google Rich Content” procedure and makes the original content of AMP (accelerated mobile page) type sites available to visitors via Google-CDN.
Let’s look at the visually rich google search results;
Enriched Media Searches:
When you search for a movie, a magazine or, as in the example below, a cartoon character, let’s see what kind of page Google will prepare for you. When I type“My little ponny” in the Google search box, the YouTube content with the most likes and views comes first on the left, with images on the right and like ratings below that.
On the right side, wikipedia content and promotional content of cartoon characters are listed. On the left, below the video content, organic search results will be listed.
Let’s do another Google search.
Search by Keyword of Interest:
For Google searches for sports, arts, activities and education, you will again find rich snippet content. For example, let’s see what happens when we type“world cup” in the search box.
On the left side, you will see the content that we can call a summary of the results shown in the light of the data that visitors are curious about and frequently searched for under the tab Matches / News / Points / Players / Updates related to the“World Cup of Football” to be held in Russia this year.
On the right side, again, wikipedia content and below it, World Cup logos and histories from the past years are listed. After the tables on the left side, you will see local and global news about the World Cup.
Important Events-Dates Search on Google
We continue to explore search results with rich content. Another“Google Rich Content Display” is Important Events – Dates, let’s type“July 15, 2016” on the search screen. As can be seen in the image below, when a search is made in date format, if there is an important event related to that date, it is shown in chronological order. Below this enriched google content, organic search results are listed.
There are many more content demonstrations to explore. I will continue to compile interesting ones for you here.
