FortiAnalyzer Password Reset – Password Cracking

The password recovery process that you may encounter on FortiAnalyzer devices that record the analysis and logging processes of the Fortinet Firewall system is done as follows.

First of all, use a consol management program like Hyperterminal or Secure CRT to connect to the Fortianalyzer from the consol port. Write down the serial number of the device on a piece of paper (it starts with FL on the back and bottom of the device). Then do the following on the console screen.
