I have already touched on some of the Google Local Guides in the previous article“Google Local Guides“. I will continue to explain the Local Guides App from where I left off. Let’s remember the main screen of the app again.

I have explained the “Expert Badge“, which is the 4th item of the Google Local Guides application, which I explained schematically. Now let’s continue in order.

Photography Badge

A badge for highlighting a location by adding great photos of it so that visitors care about the place or location.

Beginner Photographer
► Add photos of 3 locations.
► Get at least 1000 photo views.

Expert Photographer
► Add 100 photos.
► Add photos of 25 locations.
► Get a minimum of 100,000 photo views.

Master Photographer
► Add 1000 photos.
► Add photos of 100 places.
► Get a minimum of 1.000.000 photo views.

Pioneer Badge

Be the first to add important information about places and places on Google Maps and get a badge. First comment, first photo, first video, etc.

Beginner Pioneer
► Add the first photo to 1 place.
► Add the first comment to 1 place.
► Add 1 approved place.

Expert Pioneer
► 10 places where you can add the first photo.
► 10 places where you can add the first comment.
► 10 approved places.

Master Pioneer
► 50 places to add the first photo.
► 50 places to add the first comment.
► 50 approved places to add.

After seeing the types of badges and rewards, it’s time to get to know the tools for user actions. Here I will try to briefly explain which action brings you and your visitors what. Again, if we start from the abbreviations in the diagram at the top of the page.

A. Contribute

In this section you will see the tools symbolized by E, F, G, H. The Tab-Control tab contains the tools that form the backbone of the“Local Guides” application. We will examine the tools under the headings“Get Suggestions for a Place to Comment“,“Check Information“, “Complete Missing Information“,“Answer questions about a place” in turn.
